Craigslist, facebook yard sale groups (you should work that like a champ...I sell stuff in hours), and Ebay all have their place for various things. Every market is different so YMMV.

If using CL and meeting people...meet at the police station...99% of them ENCOURAGE that to keep the bad guys away....same with FB groups. Ebay..make sure you have a GOOD TERMS OF SERVICE for your listings, describe completely and accurately and pull your money from PayPal the next day to keep them from freezing it if someone files a complaint. I have had several people try it and I won EVERY SINGLE ONE.

Use ALL your resources to sell your stuff.
PROFIT is made when you BUY/ACQUIRE NOT when you sell
