    True.... I figured if you had a very large gooseneck trailer and could stack a LOT on it..... LOL well anyway I'm sorry you're getting such horrible prices..... I've heard before that the closer you are to Pennsylvania the better steel prices will be LOL.... I'm sure someone out there is getting better than I am! At least I hope so! I've heard better prices out of Louisville before as well.....

    Sorry if this is an old thread but i would like to bust your myth. I came from Pa where scrap was 8-11 cents per pound back in 2011. I moved to Tx back in 2012 and scrap was still the same. Then the price drops and in Pa we were down to $1.50/100lbs. While Tx was holding out at $2/hundred. Its around $3/100lbs at most places now. But I did find a place with a shredder thats around $2/100 more than other yards. You might get more taking a semi load to Jersey City though.
