    Yes we were . The days of old . put $10 in the car hit the road and with 99% success you could make a profit.
    It became very easy to get used to earning Abuckfifty with a few hrs organizing and some scrap. The money is still there for the scrapper at 100%
    since there will be more scrap to be found. For now our salary has been cut & the shock wave has not hit yet but this is a buyers market now .

    Yep, hold on tight. It's going to be a wild ride. I have noticed more scrap out there, especially steel with the price drops. The fly by night, get easy money scrapers are dropping off. That leaves more for the rest of us. Hang in there people.

    I literally filled my truck from my jobsite to home.. 3 miles.. just can't not pick up free $.. I may regret it once I hit the yard.. but I'm gonna see!
    I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!
