It was weird .... my yard truck started acting up. Would not run well at all. After hours of troubleshooting outdoors with the wind chill at -15 i finally tracked it down to the fuel. It runs well on fresh gas from station A and barely runs on fresh gas from station B. It shouldn't make any difference but it does.
It's something to watch for. If you're going to have fuel problems this is the time of year you'll run into them. You have to be extra careful with your small engines like chain saws & snow blowers because bad gas will destroy the piston/cylinder assembly.
Ahh well .... better days are coming. Another 30 - 45 days and we will be through the worst of it. It's not far off.
Agreed. truck misfired a month and a half ago, had changed plugs during summer, so changed plug wires ran fine for a week and misfired again..
Threw a can of dry gas in no problems since, about a month now, I get gas all over and haven't figured out which station. More than one redid their storage tanks this previous summer and have these pump type station built now.
strange weather patterns indeed, but way better than last years ice capade.
