    Next step...

Well, I'm taking the plunge...I'm getting my own warehouse space. Will sign the lease next week. It is about 1200 square foot and comes with office space, bathroom, kitchen. Best part is it is only 10 minutes from my house and the rent is VERY reasonable!

My wife is ecstatic! I'll be moving the business out of our garage and basement....for now

been contemplating this myself also. Be great to get the stuff out of the house, but then I might get in trouble for not being around enough. Can't win.

Congratulations. I know you'll love it. Should we be expecting an expanded buy sheet?

We would love to do this. Little out of our price range at the moment, though.

However, eWaste is starting to build up and it might be worth looking into a small warehouse space more centrally located.

the happiest must be your wife

hey, something just occurred to me:

u know how all the guys here who work from home.
how their wives/girlfriends etc are always unhappy about the clutter & scrap all over the place?

well, how do the women scrappers here manage?
do they set/arrange all their scrap neatly?

would love to find out more about this.

You should start a new thread for that! It'd be interesting for sure.

And congrats to Mudlucky! Fortune and blessings abound here at SMF today!

    Thanks, everyone, for the encouragement!!

As far as price, easy was close...it is between $50 and $5000 a month... That's as close as I want to get. There are a many folks around here looking for space, and I don't want to say too much along those lines.

As far as an expanded buy sheet...I buy most everything ewaste related. I don't have a full price sheet on the forum as my prices aren't as good as others on the forum. If there is something you'd like a quote on just let me know.

A really nice thing about this building is there is room to expand.

You'll be happy with your work space. I rented a three room setup right next to my computer repair shop (same building). Having a place dedicated for scrapping is worth it- trust me! I swear that I can process twice as much stuff as I did out of my home.

Just make sure to set it up how you want before you start! Trust me- I get to move a bunch of computers tomorrow, because my desk blocked one of the doors
