I think the wee brown block capactors have platinum and silver in them
I thought they were tantis and picked off about a small coffe cup of them before relising they have no tantium in there..
Same with the metellic grey blocks on the G5 macks, thought it was a tanti cap, nah... Its just forged ferrite with a copper coil inside...
The things we learn.. duh.
Yeah it'd be worth it if I had a board stripper, chemicals and a 1/2 million $ sorting machine to sort the parts with.
