    Not a lot to them. You have your motherboard, heat sink/cooling fan, CD/DVD drive, screen, battery, hard drive (if your lucky), RAM, most have wireless network cards built in or a slot card. Power supply is external. You can Google these items separately if you need help identifying. If they are newer and not in too bad a shape its easier to throw them on eBay starting price of $5 or 10 plus shipping and sell whole; less work, more money!

    I took apart about half a dozen of them recently and it turned out I would have done better to sell them whole...
