They also have these rings in them, this type are not solid copper they are called nickel copper, not a total loss they are and should be mixed in with your clean electric motors.
Those type of a/c systems, is what I call a chiller system, I had the opportunity to install a 4inch copper line to one years ago, I would love to get my hands on one.
