The drive/wear and tear is not an issue really. I have to travel to clean up my regular routes anyway, so it's on the way. Sorry, I should have mentioned that in my original post. Not really any competition. It's the city development corporation that's doing the clean out. The buildings are being demolished. So, one of the guys on the committee has his trailer parked there, and I assume will make the 60 mi run to the nearest yard.
Is there any way you could work it around so that you could strip out the wire & copper plumbing before the buildings get knocked down ? There might be some value in the building mechanicals if they haven't been messed with yet.
