Hard to tell from the pic, but could it be some type very finely crushed stone, crushed into powder almost??? I've seen piles of larger stones (like 'gravel') that they dump on top of dirt roads at yards before.

Like your trailer, too. Hope you're able to work something out that's profitable for both you and the other scrapper, good luck to you! Keep us posted~

Last time I was at the port of Albany, that was road salt. Still looks like it.

Matty, be very careful with that partnership. Many people on here will tell you horror stories about partners and employees stealing or not pulling there weight.

I agree. Me and Sidewinder went to high school together, so us working together isn't an issue, but long story short, I just filed a lawsuit against a guy for some things that are missing after I worked with a guy I didn't know and tried to help him out. Be VERY careful entering into any kind of informal partnership with somebody you just met. If he doesn't have a truck, how in the world was he planning on hauling the freezer that you, quote, "stole"? He may just be trying to get his hands in your pockets so he can take advantage of your hard work and earnings. He may also be a good, honest guy, but keep your wits about you.
