Wow, I just wanna say, I was writing my post in response to just the first two posts in this thread. But you guys are so fast -- or I'm so slow -- that something like three new posts slipped in there before mine. So now mine sounds almost rude, because I don't acknowledge anything in those posts -- cuz I didn't see them! This is what I get for goofing off and hanging around SMF when I'm at work!!
Anyway, sorry guys, I would've been gentler if I'd seen what you'd written. But yeah, I know some folks get excited about those Bigfoot drives. Maybe a nostalgia thing. And they did come out with some BIG capacity for their day. Most of the dorky collectors avoid them, though, because they were basically just a way to make a cheaper (and slooower) drive.
