Talk about bad luck, I lost my whole trailer trying to deliver a duck blind to Cedar County last week. Broke a spring but I'm so glad no one got hurt. It veered to the right and down in the ditch. Still don't know why it popped off the ball. Had a new A frame coupler welded on just last fall......on the 23 yr old trailer that never gave me problems before.
2 words,,, safety chains. Up here it is a hefty fine if you don't have them. We had a trailer/with dozer jump off a hitch and smacked a car head-on and killed a lady and I think one kid, that put the northern half of the states DOT on high alert for awhile.
