    wadarbr549...Well of course your local government is going to tell you your property is worth more...they want more of your money. Folks around here call their bluff and win all the time.

    i did not know it was possible to debate the price they value your land at on the tax assessment...i just always thought you had to pay on what they valued it at and that was the bottom line....i know there is a huge difference in what the government values my land at and what a bank would loan me on my place...if you have any info on how to get the amount lowered i would love to check that out and do a bit of research on it.
