Well I'm woke up a hour ago with no power and about an inch of ice. The electric company hasn't been dispatched to my area yet so there must be a lot without power. Got some coffee brewing on the wood stove so I'm good. Good until the kids wake up and realize their internet isn't working. I can only pray they sleep until the power is back on.

Just starting with heavy snow here in South Jersey. Working from home today which is nice. Snuck a microwave and old IMac computer in the garage last minute yesterday so I'll have something to keep me occupied for a little while. Bad thing is its going to be brutal cold here for next 48 hours.

It's going to be an entertaining night here on the Ol'sandbar. I imagine the roads will be abandoned like an old mining ghost town come nightfall. One thing I'll say, while my fellow sandbar neighbors can't really drive in snow with big trucks...lest the majority of them know to stay the hell off the roads when it turns to crap.

I should probably go do whatever I need to before it gets nasty on the roads. My officials are idiots, you'd think they'd buy a **** snowplow, or at lest treat the roads.

Sirscrapalot - I really need to upload my snow covered sandbar pictures.
