Copper Bullion Rounds one last time

I know we have talked before of Bullion Rounds .
First lets cut to the chase on a weekly basis as long as you find items you find copper that can be sold
thats all , So who needs Copper Bullion Rounds Yet fact is there is a market for the rounds , year after year I see it . prices are stable, people do buy it.
E bay sells Amazon also - lots of mints sell them. So when is real real What is your prediction, will the Copper Bullion market crash and the 500% over spot give or take be lost or will it always have it's own isolated market .
it's a small market compared to precious metals and a bit of a joke but the Copper Bullion Rounds are a market .
If you had boxes of them at low purchase price you could sell at a profit slowly but surely .



I have my doubts of the copper market getting above $5 or $ 6 - IMO copper is going to diminish in items for us FIND IT SCRAPPERS Currently us scrappers take for granted as to how we find it with a simple drive around town .
the future of AL wired motors - Al wire - TVs void of copper - AL pipe - PEX - PVC - Pipe , to name some eliminate the use of copper .

Copper prices in the Copper Bullion market has nothing to do with a shortage of reality .
It could be scarcity for scrappers and or the hunters of copper . Once you can't find it - real or not, the value of Copper Bullion Rounds will have a reality
Is there really a shortage of Silver or Gold or is it a created rarity.
Long term - if scarcity can be created Copper rounds can seem or Be ? a investment But a delicate one at that .
If society can be convinced of - Bit coins - Paper Money - Copper still has possibility's .
I can tell you this I still find copper but I find less then 5 years ago. I am sure if I had been looking for copper 10 15 20 years ago I would really be able to see the true trend of what is happening . I do remember 10 - 15 years ago seeing copper gutters at the curb . That ain't NOW !! At the curb 98% gutters are plastic- a lucky find if AL at this point.

The way I get mine is to hammer'em out of AL heat sinks. I've got some nice "rounds" that way.

That would be a thought, but a grand is a pretty steep investment. I noticed the ebay post is for copper bullion, but the description says "hand poured yellow brass". A bit of a difference there. And you are right, it would take quite a while to melt half a ton, but if I was to get it done I sure would be able to store it in a relatively small area.

Decent yards have hand held metal scanners they know what it is .

I look at that bar and it's copper , He listed as both.

Better choice gotta be electric models , It would be a great investment even just to make 1 once cubes . say it took five years Thats money in the bank .
I never successfully melted copper so I don't know it's temperament . I would assume copper pipe melts with least waste or most efficient. I tried some wire once and it started to char up . Pipe I could not budge to melt .
I figure first getting pipe to melt would be key then once you have it started the more delicate wire could be added I figure ?

Yes there is a market for copper rounds, I believe it would be considered a semi PM just as there are semi precious stones. The market is down partly because Japan stopped buying, and Turkey and china stopped building.

If the SHTF then I believe copper will become a sort of coinage as every one recognises it, also copper can be made into many kinds of tools with out much effort or sophisticated equipment. I can be almost as hard as steel if treated the right way.

every one cant make a steel axe or knife but most any one can make either out of copper.

Gresham's law is slowly proving true of copper pennies , I am surprised the Gov has not tried to fool us into Zinc all around - all our coinage currency

To mint a penny it varies in cost year to year but for 2014 it cost 1.83 cents to make a penny including the cost of zinc so one OZ of zinc pennies is around .60 cents for Gov to make .
currently you can buy your own OZ of copper coins for $1 out of 999.9 Copper and some people pay as much as $3 and $4 I guess for what they feel are unique designs .

From research removing the zinc from a copper penny is doable , getting caught could land you in jail.
Gotta figure on the down low people are melting pennies
for profit.
