    i was going to by a winch from harbor freight but since there stuff is junk and have not had good luck with there stuff. i rather spend few extra dollars and get a good one.
    i ended up buying a warn vr10000 winch. now just need to take my car trailer to a welding shop to have the winch plate welded on.

    I use to run the Ramsey REP8000 but for the last 3 years have been running the Harbor Freight 1200
    Only cost $300 and last at least a year. I have yet to find something they won't pull onto the trailer.
    When I get into the 350 Dually's with no wheels, or plow still attached and up to the hubs in dried mud >> I have had to use a snatch block to double the pull
    First one lasted over 2 years and the current one is going on 6 months
