    My local yard in ky does not take x mas lights. I just snip off the lights and throw it in my heavy #2, about 90 cents a lb. If u don't tell them they are x mas lights and u un twist them, and mix it in with other unclean #2" they shouldn't know. Don't know why they wouldn't buy it.

    I thought it was illegal to burn wire. Maybe I heard wrong.
