    TV's - - My tip after 7000 of them

For me the thought of having dismantled 7000 of them (tv's) sounds like a lot , For some others it might not be that much , But i am a curbco scrapper

So finally i figured a decent way to handle the cones
With a mallet I get at the easy copper
then I toss the copper wound around steel
into a large rubber-made container I have a piece of flat steel at bottom.
once I have a good amount in container I take my 8 pound long handle mallet and put to use-- I smash over and over
once it looks that most are smashed well enough . I get to work with a small mallet and anvil in box container
It still takes some time but all the mess stays in box and whats in the box can be sold as short .
Whats also nice is the box becomes an organized project so you can do it as time allows, take a break and come back to box later
that rubber-made box gets heavy after a while
