    It's really only as unsafe as you make it. I deal with ewaste, so no burning, heating or anything of the like for me. I do deal with other forms of scrap but..hey you can get a cut anywhere, but you can take simple measures to at lest limit that also. Gloves, good work clothes, etc.

    An common sense will mostly keep you healthy an whole. You know...don't go sticking your fingers in a sawz-all, or a bandsaw.

    Stay safe, those thumbs come in handy! lol
