**CHECK THE LOAD OUT ON PAGE 5!!!
I've been wanting to make a little thread about my scrapping adventures for a long time, now that I'm getting some good scores and deals, I want to pretty much document my success and let others see my success as well. I plan to update this as I go on my scrapping adventures.
A little background knowledge on my scrapping;
I live in rural Central pennsylvania, I'm about 10 miles from a small town or if it would be a tiny city, with a population of maybe 20,000. That's where I go to school, we don't have bulk trash pick up or curbshopping here, so all my scrap comes through word of mouth, road signs, business cards, and craigslist. I have a 2 door Stepside Silverado 1500, and a 5 x 10 trailer and now a 16ft car trailer, my dad sometimes helps me out and he has a Chevy Express 2500 Cargo van that gets better MPG then my truck, so on long hauls we take that. I have almost unlimited outside space down in our old garden where we burn trash, but I'm really limited to inside space for E-waste and or ebay items. I have one basement room for it, which half the room is taken up by my moms yard sale crap.. (No comment.) I do both scrap metal and E-waste, with one of my recent big e-waste deals, it led me into the road of refurbishing, right now my application is pending on becoming a Microsoft Register Refurbisher, I am also registered with my state as a business, so anything I sell on Ebay to my state residents and or anything I sell locally I have to charge state sales tax. I'm growing tremendously and I basically want to have this thread record all my successes, so here comes the pics.
First thing, is the massive E-waste load a picked up from a private school headquarters about 2 1/2 hours away.
The inside of our van while pulling the trailer above.
In the garage.
I don't want to put all the pictures I have on one thread so I'll be posting them in posts, I have about 3 to 4 big scrap loads to document.
Feel free to leave me feedback and or comments.
