    yes 95% of hose ends are brass. some are plastic and some are s.s. I work with hoses and irrigation systems a lot and come across them often always do a quick check to see what is the matter most of the time the end where the brass fittings are have a split it's a two minute fix and resell for much more.
    I don't cherry pick but I won't go out of my way for small stuff
