you will learn it will take a very very expensive winch to load cars that have no wheels or are locked up.i had a 3000 dollar warn electric winch once .it was rated really high and even after i doubled it with pulleys and snatch blocks it would only assist my trusty hand powered come along.it was very handy in assisting though.especialy when i had to let it loose and get another bite.no more chaining, chalking then repeating.they work great for cars with wheels.im not sure what they are called but keep your eyes open for a large winch spool with heavy cable and a large flywheel attached to it.the flywheel is almost as big as a 15 inch car tire.i had a winch like this and let it go when i traded up to a better trailor not knowing id never find another one.it worked on anything.something would always give befor it.anyhow i hope this helps.pleas dont spend money on the 99.99 wallmart/lowes winches the weight they are rated for should say rolling weight in my opinion
