    Our insulated wire price dropped a short time ago, then they upped the quality of the cable. So basicly it dropped twice.

    It was NZ$3 a Kg for insulated wire inc plugs & clips.
    Then it went down to NZ$2.30
    Now they want the plugs & ends cut off or you will only get NZ$1.60 Kg.

    I'm just gonna clean it down, burn the insulation off & get NZ$6 Kg for 60% of the cleaned down weight.

    ie, 10 Kg of wire is worth NZ$13. If I clean it down & burn it off (lots of work), I get NZ$30
