They say it in Indiana as well. I respond "Yes Pens do indeed have ink in them" It is because "Pin" and "Pen" when said in that southern accent sound exactly the same.. He He!
I remember my first visit to the grocery store when I moved to Indiana in 98.. Lady said "You want your pop in a sack?" I said "Yes I'd like my soda in a bag please" :-)
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!
Well, my Dad actually does say "lead pencil" every time...lol. I've never heard wax crayon, but they are called "color crayons" around here. Ink pens are standard here also.
