    I have ran both ways....We call em sideboards around here (LOL)......It really doesn't make much difference in my opinion as they both have their advantgages........Sideboards do allow you to haul more scrap at one time but can get in the way doing other things.....Either way it really depends on what your focus is....I don't really need em to haul ewaste but when I hauled alot of heavy scrap they were worth it

    I don't have walls but I plan on making some sideboards at the very least this year. I'm short so its already dicey for me to toss something heavy over the side of my truck and if I have walls I'd have to put the tailgate down every time I stopped for something large.

    I've been piled that high before without walls with some inventive packing and strapping but I think at least sideboards or half way back walls are needed this year for safety as well as being able to carry more in one run.
