My trash yard that I pick up computers from was showing me a trash compactor that he picked up cheap from a remodeled school. Someone threw it into their dumpster after remodeling the kitchen area. It is a stand up unit about 6'-7' tall and you open the front door and chuck the stuff in.
He uses it for compacting alum cans after he buys them. When it's done it comes out in a cube about 2' square. Works great for his smaller operation.
Their SS also so they will hold up. Might be worth keeping an eye out for during a school auction.
