My son needs to earn some "social learning" hours doing community clean ups, volunteering at shelters etc. A year ago we went to clean up a stream with a local env group and found an old dump with a huge number of really old bottles. This turned into a bit of a history lesson for my son when we learned details about all the weird-shaped bottles and jars. Some went to my wife's painting studio as objects for their still life work. One bottle got sold on ebay.
