    First No harm casually saving your nickels & copper pennies as it is a sure thing those coins will always have value as a good quality non ferris metal. Time will come and you will be able to sell to some one for above face and you investment was face. Yes all nickels are good all years.

    Second The devalued US coins are predominantly zinc, so for now sure we can spend, but think Or ask your self will US coins become the same metal as Canadian coins if so zinc coins will also be ok to have .90 LB for Zinc - If one day we are told the melt value of coins made of Zinc are higher then face then you can figure our money is really getting FUNNY (funny money) Inevitably don't you think governments want to make currency with the lowest cost metals .Foreign coins are no longer made with precious metals. The ... One-, two- and five-cent euro coins are composed of a steel core with copper coating.



    Third The copper rounds that some us poke fun at (including me at one point) are one thing undeniably - they are .999 copper and you have the freedom to do as you please with them the truth in silver is real. the truth in copper will also be real.

    Fourth Some day will coins be made of plastic ?? I bet someone is thinking of it. Pex pipe material converted to coinage
