I posted this to show how much a difference it makes with one less scrapper out doing runs. Its nice to see some people still will stop to help out our fellow man. I had my truck break down at the scrap yard once and i forgot my cell phone and no one let me use there phones or offer a ride so i walked home 12 miles. so what goes around comes around

There wasn't a pay phone anywhere along those 12 miles?

That sucks that no one would help you. Yard wouldn't let you use the phone?

I asked the yard guys what to do or if there is a tow company around. They said to lock your doors cause we are not liable for anything that can get stolen and there is not a tow place around. told me to have the truck out by closeing time tomorrow. The first 4 miles past the pallet factory are forest preserve and railroad property. I did get caught by a train for about 15 minutes. Then its Harvey. Not a city to be in if you dont have to be. I kept walking trying to get home asap. I got stubbern and decided that im going to walk the whole way home. 5 hours later i made it home.

Truck problem was, bad started = ground flywheel
