    If the radios have removable crystals inside, they would be worth pulling and reselling on eBay, even if you scrap the units. But I'm thinking the radios would be worth selling (as radios) especially if they are tested to at least 'power up'.

    A lot of the newer radios are programmed by computer and not crystal. They are in the police band and not CB radio. They could be reprogrammed for the business band for some smaller businesses. If the police unit went narrow band the the radios would not be compatible to pick them up. There is a lot of retired radios still in service around the country. A business band company can reprogram them for whoever buys them.
