Must have been an early Craftsman when they really made some quality tools. Most likely made in the USA. Chances are you'll be able to pass it on to your grandchildren, unlike the cheap stuff they make today that's lucky to make it thru your first marriage. LOL!!
I have one also that needs a new cord as the body is all alum. with no rubber insulation, alum.+ cracked cord= not good.
