    Ill second the 7.3l fords. Thats what I have and its a good motor. I do need injectors on it now and im saving the money up to get it done. But if you take care of them they last for ever. I will make a suggestion though. If you can drive a stick then buy it. You can get a 2003 7.3L ford with a stick transmission for around 8 to 12k depending on milage. Mine is now pushing 225k miles. The auto tranny in them is crap but the manual is bullit proof.
