    Snagged this baby after work

    My crane made quick work of loading this, also got the a frame coil and furnace part. And it was free which is always good

    I just have to ask what the car was before it was "Bashed and Buried By Sheet Metal?"
    I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

    Crown vic, then a demo car. And after torn apart to reclaim cage and whatnot it made real good trailer filler.

    An update on pickup bed trailer




    Pic after first coat of primer

    Next step lights and using stock rack to make 3' tall sides. More pics to come later.

    Got into town yesterday and picked up hooks for the safety chains and hitch pin with light chain so can't loose it


    Pic of 6" oval led lights, simply cut a hole with torch and pop em in.

    You had me scratching my head when you showed the first pic of the stud with the nut screwed on there. I thought it was some over-engineered tongue jack. lol By the way, where is the jack?? Do you just lift it off onto a cement block?? Smart way to handle the lights, minimize damage.

    Second trip I've used this bed. Think I might keep it for a while longer, it really helps get the most use of available space.

    Update on flat bed pickup trailer :Added 12" sideboards to buy some time til I get larger steel sides made, pics tomorrow.

    Finished up the tempo sides last night and loaded cast and prep iron to break her in.


    And water heater tossed on by some guy while I was at work this morning
