    Free slush!

First off today was the hottest its been in a long time, 100 degrees, it was 70 yesterday!
Had to go in to the yard today,(Second street), to pick up the money for a dumpster, and dump some large cast pieces i had.

Got in after a long drive, with plenty of long stoplights just baking in the sun.
Got on the scale, got unloaded by a magnet on the excavator(first time i've never had to do any work at a yard)

Went in to the office to get paid and there was a freezer and a beautiful woman scooping out slush for everyone,

Made the ride home so much better

Dune, I'll take a 110 degree Tucson, Az. day over a 85 Orlando day anytime! ****able Humidity.

Thankfully, now when I/it get(s) that hot in my rounds searching for scrap, I go off my route by a couple miles, hit the beach road, find a beach access, switch to the trunks, and go for a quick dip. Cool off, jump back in the van and continue on my merry way scrapping.

Sirscrapalot - Doesn't mind the heat anymore now that he has a ocean with in 5 miles of wherever he's at on the sandbar.

I just fixed the A/c in my car so nothing stopping me now. Actually still backed up with Crts and went out tonight and just slammed the 5 miles around me. Love the rains this heat brings, it chases the wimps on home.

Well my ac stopped working this summer - along with my windows during the winter . I figured i don't care about windows since i have AC - NOT - Lucky i accidentally broke my side window with a careless toss of metal , That did piss me off till i said the heck with it i need air . Also like how I can toss things in now with door shut .

yeah the humidity kills us here in the southeast. Lol, and Florida is the worst. you guys get high temperatures and 20 minute rain showers everyday, which just make it worse.

My dad lives in Florida. He may not like the summer, but he has fun all winter asking those of us that live farther north what our weather is like, lol.

Natick here , I usually just go to Millis , depending on what I have , as they pay one price for everything , You don't get as much as at other yards , but at least they are not as bad as Framingham Scalpers .
Heres Two sites locally that You can check scrap auto prices on .
