    most of the time it is FAR easier and profitable to ship the PARTS.....ie NOT the heavy ass case that goes with these servers. You should get alot more money by taking components out for resale. you should be able to find a list on Ebay. IF you want to sell the entire server, then I would suggest doing it locally.

    Most server cases are oversized and can weight a significant amount...mostly casing.

    Or you could charge the buyer. Some are willing to pay for shipping if they want that specific item.

    BTW which Apple Xserve do you have? Some take only Fully Buffered memory. Check to see if any of the other servers you have has it. It has a metal heatsink and the speed is followed by an "F". I.e., PC2-5300F
