    If you have a non cracked screen, in GENERAL it probably works...those can be sold on EBAY as a parts machine. You just have to be careful and not have torn the connectors to the video card. I ALWAYS check on Ebay 1st to see what the machine sells as a parts machine...many times I don't even touch them and sell that directly that way. I do pull battery. Many times it will be worth FAR more than the scrap prices you will get. Basically if a scrap machine is selling for $10-15 and up...sell on Ebay and don't even touch it...you are getting more $$$ there.

    EDIT: Let me clarify....CERTAINLY if it is a NEWER laptop and is not missing much if anything you MIGHT do better locally for resale. Scrap is the last place for it, parts machine on Ebay next up the list and then resale (locally in general).
