    rdram breakdown analysis

Time to run some numbers on the jewelers scale today just for fun.

some weight is lost after stripping because of the rivets and thermal tape

for pricing i am using $10 for rdram and $15 for gold ram

rd ram stick with heatsinks on both sides 1.366 ounces
    85.4 cents
    weight of heatsinks 0.643 ounces
    2 cents
weight of ram stick 0.625 ounces
    58.6 cents

rd ram stick with heatsink on one side 0.939 ounces
    58.7 cents
    weight of heatsink 0.318 ounces
    1 cent
weight of ram stick 0.571 ounces
    53.5 cents

it looks like rdram should be sold as-is for the best returns, the stick with heatsinks on both sides lost significant value by processing it
