The section of road i applied for is not actually a highway but a decreped old back road through the mountains notorious for vicious frost heaves and drunk rednecks. Let's just say it's going to be all the beer cans and mufflers i can carry outta there. Highways are very clean mostly trash around here the state does a great job sending out crews to keep the highway clean. I will not be able to start this until next summer officially they don't send out crews in the winter. but that's not to say i checked the road out and now need to ask the town about several culverts that have been replaced and set strategically behind some brush all mangled up. those culverts alone will be worth a good chunk they are about 25ft or so the old steel ones that couldn't handle katrina's wrath. sad to see those new ones are made from plastic
