computer auction

ok, so as most of you know, I'm new to the e-scrapping, but see some potential in my area. I'm looking at a local online auction right now, in the pic i can clearly see, 6 verticle towers, at least 8 horizontal towers (probably more, but they are blocked in the pic), no less than 43 lcd monitors, and a copier and fax machine. What would be a max bid and still be able to make money off this deal? Figure in $50 for gas. I appreciate the help as many of you have a ton more experience in this. i live in the sticks and it looks like for now auctions are going to be the ticket. There are quite a bit of 3 + pallet auctions in the area, but my capital isn't high enough yet for that.

gotcha, i passed on it as the bid was at $140 already, I was just curious though for future reference, I had heard someone say that you can pay $5 and still make a profit.

gotcha, I have read up on some of it, but theres a whole plethera left that I need to get to yet. I was just asking because I may not find out frome reading untill after the auctions are over, then my luck would have been that I should have bid on it.

found out yesterday I have an anurism, I'm gonna have to stop watching those on line auctions.
