Looking for a Honeywell 4WMPC001BA1 Maintenance Panel

Hey everyone! I am on the hunt, looking for an old Honeywell maintenance panel.*

I am currently in the middle of building a replica Ecto-1, from Ghostbusters. Last year I bought a 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor, and am just trying to get the accurate pieces and parts.

My friend knows of a lady, who owns her own rental shop, and she has several of these panels. Of course, she is not willing to sell any. So, I'm throwing this out to see if anyone might be able to help me? Or know where to start looking?

This maintenance panel is the Honeywell 4WMPC001BA1.

    Any help is truly appreciative.

    Thanks everyone!

My friend bought one from her for, I believe, $500. But, she is not willing to sell the others. Don't ask me why.

man that must be a rare gem, cant find it on ebay or anywhere else, for any price!

I have one or two control panels and circuitboards that look similar to that... but my guess is "similar" is not good enough for a replica!

    Good luck on your search!

Also.... have you considered just getting a random metal box and building it to look exactly the same? Or is it being authentically a honeywell control board important? Would a thing that is the same size and looks the same be good enough? If so, you could probably build one (or contract someone to build one), for less than $500

Unfortunately, it's definitely going to be a hard find. I'm just irritated this lady won't sell the 3 others she has.

Would you mind sending me a picture of the panels you have? I'd love to see them.

As far as building them, yes, I have definitely thought of doing that. That is what I am currently in the process of doing with 2 other pieces. But, those are extremely hard to find military control panels. As in, only a few dozen were made, if that. And by this point I'm sure they all went to the scrap yard.

They are in a box somewhere in my garage queued up to be taken apart and scrapped. When I come across them I can snap a picture if I rememmber, but I do not think they are similar enough to be what you are looking for. I would think somewhere like a movie prop shop or even maybe a machine shop could make something that looks indistinguishable from the original for not too much money. Heck people make knock-off iphones and rolexes.... im sure a non-functioning metal box would be pretty easy

How much time and money are you willing to invest making a panel that's not authentic. Everybody has a price. Maybe she's waiting for a $1000 offer.

Good luck and welcome to the forum.
