Catalytic convertor prices are through the roof

Right now in my part of the country cats are 3-4X the price from 3 months ago!

I just got $350 for a GM from a 4.3L which would have normally sold for $100!

Any other areas experience this kind of bump?

You were dealing with some serious backyard catalytic converter buyers if they 3-4 increased their prices.

Buyers in Canada were paying a pitance of their actual value then it became common knowledge the values increased the buyers had to increase prices or go out of business but the kicker is they're still paying in Canadian dollars making it easy to cheat on the buy.

Canadian dollar is worth about 30 percent less than your American dollar

If they were switching from generalized categories like Small Domestic (etc) to going by numbers the change could be quite dramatic just by making that shift
