    Focker-
That Taurus should have (2) "Low Standards" on it. Maybe they only replaced 1? Crossing fingers for ya. They net $40 a piece here.. Maybe there is still $40 tucked in there.

I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

Thanks.I inspected them the other day i seen the converter under there kind of hard to get down really good on my wrist still. But as long as i make some kind of money i am happy.I am wanting to start doing about 10 per week steadily and then get a shop and do 15 or more a week.I hope my plan works out.if it does then i should be doing it in about 6 months.Trying to wait until the first of the year and see how everything has gone up until that point.

But i am kicking myself for buying over the interent and not going to the auction. One of the vans had 2 aftermarket cats on it dammit.
Also the trailer need to be about 1-2 ft longer it was tight lol.

    Focker-
I sort of faded away for a few weeks from here. Good on with your scores. My last 2 have also been Windstars- I love those turds- 3800 lbs each. I'm actually hunting them specifically. Although I only have a 16 footer so I have to do em 1 at a time! Congrats on your scores- seems as if you are working that 2 car hauler well! Glad you did better than you anticipated on the Taurus!!

yeah the other day i was hauling in my load of wheels, conveters, batts and alts and had a blowout screwed up the whole side of my driver side of the bed.Luckily i had a spare but climbing out of the truck i fell and hurt my foot.So this week i am taking off to get better.I am hoping to heal by next week and hit the auctions again.

Boy do I know how that feels. Last Friday I put down a piece of trim I was pulling, sort of lost my balance and put my hand down- right ont a 6D finish nail in the trim.. Couldn't do crap with my hand for the weekend. Be well man, recover and go back at it :-)

Picked up 6 today got 4 processed and hauled in.Had a taurus with factory wheels popped the center cap off and there was 1 locking lug nut on each wheel.Needless to say the lock wasnt't anywhere in the car.The loader guy tried to break them for me but no luck.I may try to take a socket to try to get them off or i might just say forget it.I will still make over $100 on the car but another 60-70 would be nicer lol.

I have 2 on the trailer to haul in tomorrow morning then 2 more to pick up and process and 1 to pick up on wednesday the i am taking alittle break. When i haul my wheels, cats and stuff in i will take a picture and post what i have in everything.

I have a question i need advise on building some racks for my truck. What do i need to build them out of?

I've always used 1-1/2" square tubing for pickup box racks, in 1/8" wall. It cuts nicely with an abrasive cutoff saw or metal cutting bandsaw and is heavy enough to weld easily.
