Well, thanks for that, but I have my days jord, just much as anyone else does, maybe more. I think you'll find though, here, or most anywhere else, those who do have "attitudes", had it when they arrived. Those who choose to blame others, are usually just lying to themself ; )
Oh yeah Im not gonna deny it i have my moments too. Especially after i work 9 hrs in 100 degree heat. Im a real treat then. LOL

I'm fairly new and stumbled upon this thread. I've got a couple stories along the same lines, I have 3 four cylinder dirt racecars out back that I listed on craigslist for $500 each. They were built around 10 years ago but never raced in competition, the motors are loose but don't currently run. Anyways, I had all kinds of emails on them & this one clown asked me all kinds of questions and I gladly answered them. Then he asked if he could send me the rule book for his local track for me to look over & see if he could even race these cars at his local track, I said "no, if you want the car you come and look at it in person" & then he asked if I would get it running for him & I said "no, I will not poor money into the car & get it running just to have you back out on the deal" & then he asked if I would deliver it 300 miles away for $600 including the price of the car. After that I never responded to him and just pulled the ads off craigslist. I don't know if the people that were emailing me are just that ignorant or have nothing better to do than waste other peoples time. I mean I was only asking $500 per car, I can part them out for more than that but I thought if there's some kid out there that wants to get into racing I'll sell the car cheap and help them out.

I had some clown see one of my cars on racingjunk.com and he's been pestering me about the car for two weeks, we finally agreed on a price last week and he said he would be here today at 7pm to pickup the car. It is currently 9:45 PM and he has not shown up yet or answered his phone..............I swear, some people just need to grow up for christ sake.

Just keep listing em Diesel, hopefully a buyer who's on the level will show up eventually. Stuff like you describe goes on all the time. It isn't really hard to weed out the riff-raff after two or three emails though. I don't post phone numbers or use regular email contact until I know, and if they don't make contact or keep their word, I won't call them, just write em off and wait on a better one. Thankfully I don't have any room or time constraints. I pity someone who's holding their breath while waiting on a straight talker though

Diesel, now that he knows where you live, and has made it it clear that he's completely dishonest, I'd suggest locking the gates when you leave, if he knows when you'll be away( possibly even if he doesn't)

Scott I also agree with You... Its just seems odd that people can make assumption and call you a bad person.. when especially they don't have all the in's and out..

So.. After being condone about the heat sink.. I decdied to ensure all proper aspect of my video will have a mesg.. stating If I forget one things.. Don't assume that I'm

    negligent in doing such thing.

There are some really good people on this forum, and I've come to meet several of these wonderful people in real life. I've spoken to many people on this forum and I find them

to be level headed... Its good for everyone.. if people would just learn to read everything or listen to one says.. without going.. Oh gotcha you did that wrong.. or you did that..

Im gonna not talk to you.. There lost.

For people selling what ever it maybe.. its good to know that no matter what you're selling I've got your back... I will wait till you dig into that steak before I dig into Mine.

I'm a people person. I like to talk.. being deaf.. and part blind.. makes me wanna be with everyone I can be with.. but.. If you've a grudge.. I won't disown You.. I would pray

for You.. and hope that what ever is bothering You.. that some how you figure out how to get around it. and get pass it.

So.. again kudos to the main poster.. and again SPOT ON SCOTT>

At some point people just stopped being polite to each other. I don't know how or why this happened, but it seems like over night people in general, and I'm not talking about most people on this forum, just decided that being polite wasn't worth it anymore.

Also things like opening doors for each other, and women, pulling out chairs for your date, offering to pay for a coffee, letting someone with one item go ahead of you when you have 50 in the grocery store line, saying thank you and please. All these things, and so much more, seem to be fading away. I get the strangest looks because I was raised right and treat people properly. But I don't think I should be getting any special attention for being how I am, I believe that it's just simply how people should be.

One of the things I like about this forum is that it seems to be full of people who hold these types of values. I cannot tell you how many people I have spoken with, or exchanged emails with, from this forum, who display the kind of common courtesy I see missing out in the world today.

Anyway, I understand your rant, and agree with you. There should have been communication, and he should have treated you better after he failed to do what he said, and you didn't want to deal with him anymore.

Got that once. Was selling a bike we got on impound that the guy never came back for. Guy said he would be at the shop at 730pm. I couldn't be there so i asked bossman for a favor. Sure he says, no prob. Well go figure the Guy never shows. Bossman is ticked off. Waited 2 and a half hours. Guy Never calls or texts to tell me. So i text him and let him have it. And i mean i let him haaave it..... Didn't resort to name calling but i let him know i was pissed right off with him. He sent a friend to the shop by 12 the next afternoon to pick it up. I don't feel bad getting mad with those kinda guys. They have no respect for us when they do that crap so why should we be nice with them.

Post a detailed ad and put in there,

555-555-5555 "Do not contact me unless you're scheduling a time to come and see the _____." Only available from 7-10pm. (or whatever time you will be at same location as item)
Put a good price it will sell at and put, "NOT NEGOTIABLE".

Done deal, run the ad or scrap it.

And if you're selling and want to meet in a public spot, just give the address to the local store/gas station or whatever and say text or call me when you're there. then take the few mins and drive there.
