Has anyone every dismantled and scrapped a fire truck. I have opportunity to buy several and am just wondering if they are worth it. Seems to be quite a bit of brass. BTW these are 1980's 1990's models not the old small fire trucks.

I myself may be junking a fire truck conversion...came across this. So the pumps etc are worth quite a bit?
Really depends on the age and manufacture of the pump, an older pump could just be scrap value.
Who is the manufacture of your pump how many gallons per minute and how much pressure will it put out.
The majority of corporations work off a budget, equipment is depreciated over a number of years then regardless of condition is replaced. And this is how we end up with a surplus market, no one wants this sheet.
Copy that! It’s an army 6x6 that later was surplused to the Forest Service. I’m guessing pre 1999 as it’s an M939 series truck with no ABS, and with NDTs
That’s quite a story!
You enjoy a good tale Eh, here's a link to the Gustavus thread who eventually became Biscuit the two merged before going on vacation again. Back again as Proton.
