It's a dead issue now but size matters. There's not as much demand for the smaller monitors so the cost to ship could be more than the value you receive for them. It's all situational.

Pretty much the same with scrapping them out. It's best to weigh up the boards you salvaged & figure out what their value is. Balance that against your shipping costs to see what your net profit would be. It would make sense for some and not for others.
