    Goodwill refuses TV's In Iowa

This is a quick link to a story I was able to find quickly. I know that on the TV commercials they aired around here they said after July 1 2012 they would no longer accept TV's, Monitors and computers, but this article only refers to TV's. I went over to their store and they said that was correct, but to go talk to their regional office for more information. I am actually quite glad they are not taking computers for sure. As for the monitors, you will just have to be more creative in getting rid of them. I have been able to handle my supply of them now, but I don't strip them down to nothing and expect someone else to take them with all of the goodies gone. In my business taking monitors and TV's for free are just a part of the service I offer to my customers that give me other stuff as well.

Here is a link to the article I found in a hurry.

I too offer free removal of the monitors as part of my recycling. I let my suppliers know up front that they are going to goodwill for proper recycling, and they are happy about that.
