Found this on CL. Might be a solution for some of us.

Nice but I don't see a price. Is it like a good French restaurant? If you must ask you can't afford.

I tried contacting him in the past. No response. If anyone gets through I would like to know what prices are.

I don't see the combo package on ebay any more, but Texas Pride Trailers had a trailer and 5 "cans" for 20k.

We've looked into one of these built by Texas Pride trailers. They offer a package deal, the trailer plus 5 bins. $20k (http://www.texaspridetrailers.com/OS...X12-TANDEM.htm), the options that we were going to add brought the total up to about $27k. I've seen the unit in person and it's a nice setup. The main thing to keep in mind is that if you exceed 26,000lbs total GVWR you move into commercial territory (at least in Texas). I think they would be great for lower volume customers that don't really need a 30-40yd dumpster.

One other cool thing: you can make a roll-off flatbed to use when you aren't hauling the boxes.

Been awhile since I had looked at their site. A quick peek shows a spare tire as the only option. What were you going to add that added another 7k? Or is part of that taxes?

I definitely like the 5 bin idea. One trailer. One license/registration. Get a few accounts that warrant the bins and trade them out when full.

I'd probably rent the bins out to home/business owners doing clean outs that wouldn't need a 20 or larger.

How is the winch? That would be one concern of mine if it wasn't up to heavy pulling year after year.

Looks like $2,500+ for delivery. For that kind of money I'd go get it myself and see Texas since I've never been there.

This would be perfect for us. We have our hoppers dropped and we fill them. Would give us more flexability when one buyer gets silly. Right now if I want to change bulk buyers I have to send all my tubs back, get new ones from new buyer, most of the time it isint worth it but we have to do it every so often so they know we will.

Awhile back I saw a trailer site that had 3 bins stacked ready for transport. I thought it was Texas Pride, but I don't see it on their site. May be it was some other site.

    Idaho-

Sorry for the delay in replying, busy week at our facility.

The options that we were looking into included: auto tarp, upgraded springs, thicker steel on the dumpster floors, and fabrication of a flatbed roll-off to use when we weren't hauling the bins. Overall build on the trailers is excellent, and the winch is more than powerful enough to pull the dumpster up even at max weight. The dumpsters are made to be stacked, and you can haul all 5 of them that come with the package in one go.

I really like the trailer, but it was not the right purchase for us at the time. We ended up using the money on a scrap handling magnet for our excavator instead. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any more questions about my visit to their facility or on the trailers that I looked at.

With the flat bed that sounds like quite a versatile trailer. No need to have a car hauler with winch.
