last pair of wire cutters ill ever buy.

as most of you may know I buy and strip wire for a living, so I cut a lot of wire which means wearing out wire cutters, wire cutters get expensive . so I bought these a few days back from ronan a few days back. let you know how they work

here are two sears brand cutters i have been using for a while now, the first link is sears version of the ronan cutter redcrossnj posted about. the second link is the sears handi-cutters which i have had a set of forever.

thes are both very nice and tough cutters the large handi cutters can cut two pieces of 0 gauge wire in one stroke, the replacement blade are a little pricey though.

I have a large size sears handy cutter that I use to cut wires from power supplies one squeeze and done. Total cost zero, came from a bucket of rusty tools from my neighbor.

I haven't been able to use them extensively because the yard I buy wire from has been slow cause of the wheather and snow and hasn't gotten any wire yet this week

i just picked up two kobalt ones for $15 total. lifetime guarantee. I seem to be less dangerous with these fixed blade. I worry about chopping my fingers off with the razor blade ones

So I go to grab my cutters since I mainly use these for power supplies, and of course I can't find them. Maybe I should have bought a few pairs at Home Depot when they had them, lol. Now, my warehouse junk piles have swallowed my makita drill, two sledge hammers, and these cutters. Maybe I should have a tether on all of my tools.

how do you strip your thin wire do you freeze it then feed it into a grinder or just take it in in manageable length and take the hit on the rubber, i'd protect your eyes, i've never seen anyone cut wire with those.
