    angle grinder

    i have a 4.5 ryobi angle grinder . But it can only use type 27 depressed center cutting wheels . they are more expensive then the flat ones. does anybody know a 4.5 angle grinder i can buy that uses flat cutting discs?. im thinking about using flat harbor freight discs

    i got some big thick washers to go behind my wheel to lift it out a ways

    all the grinders I have came with a disc with a threaded center (kinda like a washer and nut in one)to put the cutting blades on, it may be in the box still and you didn't notice it. as far as blades I buy the 5 pack of dewalt at lowes for $10 they last way longer than the hf stuff

    I use the HF angle grinder (they cost about $20 at HF, cheaper if you have a 20% off coupon) and 4.5" thin metal cutoff wheels and they have been working great. To give an example of how much use I can get out of one HF disc, I can cut thru 5 refrigerator compressor shells with one disc.
