a new ratchet i picked up today

i went to harbor freight today , i know harbor freight but deal with me, we buy sockets there just because we lose more than we use, while picking up a few sets of sockets i noticed this ratchet, one end is 1/4 and the other 3/8, its really built nice like a gearwrench, 15.99 i think it was

the last few chinese made ratchets ive bought have only lasted a couple months under solid use. The gears on the inside wear out then they start slipping when you apply force. I am going with craftsman only from now on, they have a lifetime exchange policy on them.
I buy and sell all types of scrap and escrap. I buy specialty and hard to sell escrap. I buy resale items. PM me or contact me at jghilino@hotmail.com

believe it or not so do the pittsburgh tools, the only thing i ever swapped was a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter and they give me the whole set of three , i like good tools to and usually don't go off the beaten path, but this looked pretty usefull i figure ill put a 10 and a 12 on it and leave it be, kinda like a special order combination wrench make it however you want star bits, allen heads or sockets

Harbor freight's stuff is either great or pitiful. I love Harbor Freight. Just learn what to buy. Their Pittsburgh Pro ratchets are solid.

used it a little today maybe about 5 minutes and liked it really well, no its not a snap on or anything but its nicer than kobalt husky or stanley on first impression, time will tell how durable it is.

I have 1 of those and it works great. I got it about a year and a half ago to change a power steering hose on my wifes old car. You could not get a regular wrench on the hose fitting at the rack & pinion. With this ratchet and a crows foot wrench it was a little time consuming, but got the job done. That was the first time I ever used a crows foot wrench.
